Who we are and what we do...
ELT Curriculum Services is an educational consulting company specializing in English language learning education. We provide program support to organizations that teach people to communicate in English. Our clients are both in Canada and around the world, ranging from Ministry of Education and post-secondary schools, to online learning providers and textbook publishers. Our support takes on a variety of forms and solves a wide range of challenges facing English language program administrators and instructors. The primary consultant and founder, Emma Hatfield, collaborates with many ELT experts on a wide range of academic support projects. She draws in different experts depending on the project needs. A bit about Emma... With over 20 years in English language teaching, Emma Hatfield shares her expertise in classroom instruction, program design, curriculum design, and material development. Emma holds TESL Canada Level 2 Permanent certification, supported by a BA from Simon Fraser University and a TESL Diploma from Vancouver Community College. Her years as a teacher, program manager, oral examiner, and business owner combine to give her special insight into the balancing act of running a financially viable education program that serves its learners' needs. She has been recognized as one of BC TEAL's 50 at 50, joining a group of 50 outstanding professionals who have made significant contributions to BC's ELT community.
